About Tucker Welch Properties
Tucker Welch Properties was founded by Thaddeus S. Welch, II “Tucker” in 2001 to sell and manage his personal properties. Following a successful career as a Private Banker, Tucker expanded the scope of Tucker Welch Properties to a full service real estate agency firmly based on the principles of private banking: discretion, commitment to clients, and personalized marketing, procurement and sales solutions.
Thaddeus S. Welch, II
Thaddeus S. Welch, II "Tucker" is the founder and principal of the agency. Tucker Welch Properties was established in 2001 to sell, procure and manager personal properties ranging from large land parcels, to spec houses to renovations.
In 2008, Tucker expanded the scope of the agency to include real estate brokerage services and with the purchase of Liberty Realty now has eight associates on the team. He comes from a career in banking, initially in commercial business development and then as VP of Wealth and Asset management for TD Banknorth and its predecessors. Tucker was born in NYC, attended Collegiate School and graduated from Bowdoin College. He is a graduate of the Williams College School of Banking and the National Trust School.
Tucker is very involved in the Berkshires community and has been associated with the Berkshire Museum, Barrington Stage Company, Hancock Shaker Village, the Boys and Girls Club and is currently serving as a trustee of Berkshire Health Systems. He is an active member of the Country Club of Pittsfield, the Lenox Club and the Old Chatham Hunt club.
Tucker is predominately involved in investment properties and the commercial end of the real estate business as well as the residential side.
Carl Dunham, Jr
Carl is an associate broker and is based in New Milford, CT as well as the Berkshires. He is a real estate attorney and licensed as a broker in MA, CT and NY. He is also a real estate entrepreneur and currently owns the Candlelight Inn and Farm in New Milford, CT, a B&B and 600 acre horse farm, as well as the Berkshire Equestrian Center, the Berkshires premiere boarding and training stable, and the Richmond Inn.
Carl is Tucker Welch Properties guru for B&B's and equine properties as well as other investment opportunities.
Carl graduated from UConn and is active in both the Litchfield County community and the Berkshires. Among other boards, he serves as a Trustee for the Hancock Shaker Village.
Cindy Welch
Cindy Welch is a business entrepreneur who specializes in marketing and promotion. She has founded and managed Search and Placement Services, an executive recruitment firm which she grew to 17 offices; Careerfile.com, an online job placement services, Betterway.net, a software development and hosting company and Historic Fences, a fencing business. In addition she builds and restores houses.
Cindy is the managing broker for MA and NY. She also works on the marketing and pricing plans for all listings and advertising. She is the authorized exclusive broker for Connor Homes, a pre-milled home construction firm.
Cindy's primary real estate interest is in residential real estate, land, house siting and renovation properties.
Pierre Joseph
Pierre Joseph, the founder of Liberty Realty in Pittsfield, MA and New Lebanon, NY, has over 30 successful years as a broker/owner and over 2,500 sales. Since the acquisition of Liberty Realty in January of 2010 by Tucker Welch Properties, Pierre has been serving as a consultant for our NY and MA operations. (see press)
Michael Kelly
Michael Kelly joined Tucker Welch Properties in May of 2010. Most recently an IBM Exceutive with the Solutions Sales Group, he moved to the Berkshires in 1996 for his career with Oracle and became a Berkshire area enthusiast.
Michael primarily specializes in residential real estate and is a proven solution manager who can help buyers and sellers find the common ground needed to get the deal done.
Michael graduated from Colorado College and did graduate work at the University of San Diego. A competitive race walker and master swimmer, he is a resident of Richmond, MA.
